The Tyner-Shorten Label is Canadian made and combines traditional craftsmanship with the finest materials available to produce elegant, high quality menswear for today's sophisticated man. At Tyner-Shorten Clothiers, we take pride in reminding men of the pleasures of wearing fine clothing and custom suits.
Our “off-the-rack” collections incorporate factory construction methods using modern assembly techniques and machinery, but only when quality is not compromised. Almost 300 individual operations (cutting, pressing and sewing) contribute to the making of a Tyner-Shorten tailored suit.
Our collections begin with exclusive offerings from the best mills of Northern Italy including Lora Piana, Reda, Barberis, E. Thomas and many others, while designs reflect the perfect balance between classical and modern.
Bob Small commissioned Jack Victor to fashion a unique line of clothing as part of Tyner-Shorten Clothiers 50th Anniversary celebrated in 2015. The Tyner-Shorten Brand received rave reviews and now continues to offer a wide range of suits, blazers, a full line of shirts, ties and accessories. The combination of five decades of experience in men’s fine fashions has resulted in a growing line of clothing that is unique to Tyner-Shorten Clothiers. From chest pieces, pocketing, and linings to buttons and shoulder pads, all elements used inside Jack Victor garments are sourced in Europe.
We take pride in using only the best interior components available. They are the building blocks of our tailored products, and contribute greatly to their quality, exclusivity and excellence.

Quality chest pieces
The Italian canvasses we use for the foundation of the garment are made entirely from natural fibers.
Italian linings
Both body and sleeve linings are all natural viscose, offering great breathability and a silky hand.
Superior buttons
Italian-made from horn and urea, our buttons are unique and more durable than synthetic alternatives.
Fine cotton pocketing
Made of 100% pre-shrunk pure cotton, our trouser pocketing is imported from Italy’s premier cotton mill.
Sartorial waistband
Our trousers feature a self-cover waistband with a special “Ban Roll” reinforcement, which prevents the waistband from turning over.
Luxurious fabrics
Our collections feature the finest worsted wool fabrics from Super 100's to Super 170's, which are used in the 1913 luxury collection.
